Scout von Scheer is a sweet, 4-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix whose unique appearance will turn heads and prompt smiles.  Her foster mom reports that Scout is completely housebroken.   Rescued from a high-kill shelter, Scout was frightened when she first arrived at her foster home until she found a quiet place to chill and avoid eye contact with the family.  Now, however, she accesses the whole house, enjoys short spells of gentle petting and looks forward to the daily walks she loves so much.  This sensitive soul's favorite pastime is lying in her favored place in the home and people-watching though, after the sun goes down, it seems she likes to roll around in the backyard for a while.  She is okay with calm dogs but really prefers humans.  Scout lives with a gentle child.  She will continue to thrive in a quiet home with a patient owner who helps to build her confidence and socialization skills and, most of all, to assure her of how much she is loved.
